Moss
This fallen tree trunk is a good example of how it is important to leave some of them in the wild, as they make great habitats for moss and insects, that provide plenty of food for bird life in the woods.

Garden shed 4ft x 3ft an ideal size for an allotment
Sheds are popular with allotment holders to store some tools, to have somewhere to shelter from the rain showers etc. However, getting a shed put on an allotment is not the easiest of tasks, and this 4ft x 4ft shed is a handy size for transportation. It is windowless, which is always good for allotment sheds, as it deters thieves after garden tools, and it is big enough to sit in if it is pouring with rain. It is a more compact sized garden shed, so is easier to actually get onto your allotment plot. This garden shed is available from Gardenis.co.uk £199 including UK mainland delivery, arriving in large sections that have to be self assembled with the enclosed screws and nail. wooden shed 4 x 3

Jesmond Dene, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Jesmond Dene is a unique park only 1.5 miles from Newcastle city centre. Set in a deep narrow ravine, it is a mix of natural woodland and man made areas. It was donated to the city by industrialist Lord Armstrong. It used to have it all to himself, but with the city growing in the Victorian era, he donated it for all city residents and visitors to enjoy.

Zoom of a bridlepath in the British countryside. Snowdrops line the path for horses and people, with a typical hedgerow that can be found throughout the countryside bordering farm fields and are rich in bird life.
Purple Crocuses
Spring Crocuses are out here in Britain already. That Gulf Stream that keeps our Island much warmer than it would be without it, is something to be thankful for. These are growing at a higher lattitude than Eastern Canada that is buried in deep snow!
